Neuro Rehabilitation
Neuro rehabilitation is a doctor-supervised program designed for people with diseases, injury, or disorders of the nervous system. We work with individuals to address a wide range of neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and more. We assess and treat individuals to regain/maximise their independence and achieve their optimal level of ability in daily activities.
Assessment approach:
- Holistic approach looking at physical impairment, cognitive, emotional, and psychosocial aspects that can impact an individual’s ability to perform daily tasks.
- Work closely with individual to set personalised goals based on their needs and aspirations. These goals may involve improving motor skills, cognitive functions, and emotional well-being to enhance their overall quality of life.
- Comprehensive assessment is conducted to evaluate the individual’s strengths, limitations, and areas of need. This assessment helps to design a tailored treatment plan with the individual.
Treatment Techniques
- Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Training – This involves helping patients relearn and practice basic self-care tasks like dressing, bathing, eating, and grooming.
- Cognitive Rehabilitation – Improving cognitive functions such as memory, attention, problem-solving, and executive functions.
- Physical Rehabilitation – Activities aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
- Functional Training – Meaningful to the individual, such as cooking, shopping, and community integration/living.
- Adaptive Strategies – teach individuals to learn techniques and tools to compensate for specific impairments, promoting greater independence.
- Sensory Integration – Work on sensory integration to improve sensory processing and perception.
Collaboration

Progress Monitoring
Regular assessments are conducted to track the individual’s progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed. This ensures that the therapy remains effective and relevant.
Community Reintegration
Helping individuals reintegrate into their communities and engage in meaningful activities.
